Town of Southeast Planning Board Chairman Tom LaPerch was awarded the John O. Cross Award for Outstanding Planning Board Chair by the New York Planning Federation on Monday, March 27, 2017 at their annual conference.
Chairman LaPerch was nominated by a group that included Town officials, employees and consultants, as well as his fellow Board members.
In accepting the award, Mr. LaPerch said he was humbled by this prestigious honor and thanked his team, including his Board, his secretary and his consultants. He said his team works very hard and everyone's desire to improve the quality of life in the Town of Southeast is the key to the Planning Board's success.
