    BREWSTER HEIGHTS/EAGLES RIDGE FULL SYSTEM FLUSH

    Due to the discoloration in the water, there will be a full system flush for the Brewster Heights and Eagles Ridge Water DIstrict beginning today, September 18th, and if needed, through tomorrow.

    We apologize for this inconvenience and please refrain from any use of the water. It is recommended that at the end of today, you run your bathtub water to flush out your service lines. Updates to follow

    Brewster Heights - Dirty water

    On the night of 9/6 there was a pump line failure. 'Dirty' water entered the storage tanks. The line was repaired the morning of 9/7 and clear water has been diluting dirty water Sat, Sun and Mon - today's flushing should clear water. Water is safe

    to consume. An alarm system is being investigated to notify the operators in the event of a line failure - they are not on-site 24/7. We apologize for any inconvenience.
